Story Review
The episode started, on the dinner table Affan questions his mother about the way she was eating the Ice cream. Mehrunisa gives him a shut up call by saying that I’m your mother and now you will going to tell me what am I supposed to do and what not, and by saying this she left the table. Phopho supports Affan by saying that whatever you said was right.
Mehrunisa goes for a walk in the park. Mahir also goes to the same park for walk and exercise. After the walk, Mahir started the conversation, he asked her if she is new in the park. She said yes. He also introduce himself as a fitness trainer and a tennis coach. Mehrunisa told him that she also used to play tennis. They had a little but interesting chit chat.
Mehrunisa dressed up for a kitty party. She looked young and fresh. But when she reached the party, the other ladies there, started taunting her that she is widow and she should not be dress up like this. She gets upset and left the party. In park she looked upset, Mahir asked her what’s the matter she shared some of her problems with him and Mahir told her some of his own. They again had an interesting conversation.
When Mahir arrives home, there was no one at home except for the maid. He asked the maid to buy him a card, when she left, he quickly takes out the gold bangle from the wardrobe of his step mother.
He called his father and then they both left for the rishta to Narmeen’s house. When Aziza begum with her daughters arrived the maid told her that Mahir and his father went out to Narmeen’s place. They immediately understand the situation, Aziza asked her daughter if she knew the address of Narmeen, she said yes.
Mahir, his mother and his father went to Narmeen’s house for Rishta. But there arrives Aziza begum and she puts the blame of stealing her gold bangle on Mahir. Narmeen’s mother insults them and they all left. Mahir gets upset. His father and mother boths gets angry on him. He left heart broken.
Affan asked his mother to take his rishta to Seher. Mehrunisa asked her son to complete his studies first but he said that he needs to fix this proposal. Phopho supports him. So Mehrunisa felt helpless and accepted his wish.
Mehrunisa and Minal discuss that Seher is a sharp girl and she is also dominating but Mehrunisa said we have to accept her because she is Affan’s choice.
My Take
Bilal Abbas is such an amazing actor. His expressions are so powerful that he doesn’t really needs any dialogues. But yes! His dialogue delivery is yet another amazing weapon he has that makes the viewer fall in love with the character.
The whole scene of the rishta interview. He had played with his face expressions. Amazing!!!! Superb!!!!
Hadiqa Kiyani and the girl playing the role of the younger Mehrunisa has a very delicate connection. Either that young girl has copied well or might be Hadiqa is deliberately doing so. But they have the same walking style, talking style and even the head and neck movement is also similar.
