Episode 21 & 22
Story review
Falak is in jail. Ayesha is her lawyer. Shams searching for Munira. Shams finds out the address of Munira and goes there. He reached to the place, even he met her, but soon her husband arrives. He didn’t allow Munira to go along with him, instead took her away. Shams returned to Lawyer Ayesha empty handed. Their case becomes very weak, they started believing that they will going to loose the case. On the other hand, Geeti inform the prosecutor Lawyer that Falak and Shams love each other. He also proved the fact that they both planned for Danial’s murder. Shams goes back to Karachi until the next hearing and prepare his family for the worst case scenario. He tells Falak’s father that they have almost lost the case. He confronted Geeti and tell her that he will not going to marry her. What she did to Falak by informing the lawyer, has lost his trust. He plans to take the blame of the murder on his shoulders.
In the next hearing of the court, Munira appears in the witness box and told the truth. Which proves Falak to be innocent. Shams and Falak returns back home together.
Geeti gives audition for acting. She becomes heart broken when Shams refuse her. She tries to be like Falak. She warns Falak to stay away from Shams.
Falak gathers some evidence against Geeti and find out all her mishandled affairs. And one day by a friend she inform her phopho about Geeti’s wrong deeds. She slapped Geeti. And scolded her. And that’s puts an end to Geeti and Shams relationship.
Then Falak and Shams gets engaged. And that’s make a Happy ending to the drama LAAPATA.
My Take
Overall this drama was a very good entertaining project. It gives the viewers lighter comedy as well as serious love story with some thrill and suspense. It was one of its kind project, which ended in 11 weeks and with a happy ending. There was glamour, songs and family oriented play.
The ending note given by the director #Khizer Idrees was very unique and cherry on top.
