Story Review
This episode has the real turning point of the story. Mashal is dead.
Tahir and Shagufta gone to attend a wedding. Mashal stayed back, she ordered food for herself. Mehreen returned from Saleha Khala’s home. She saw her bridal dupatta being all teared up. She went to Mashal’s room. Shabbo saw her going in angry mood.
When Tahir and Shagufta returned late at night they found out Mashal is dead. They took her to the hospital. But she was no more. Police came for investigation and Mehreen was the first suspect. They arrested her. In jail, police cross question her, she denied and said she didn’t murder her.
Tahir restricted Saleha baji from attending the funeral. As he was angry with her, he keeps blaming her for ruining his daughter’s life. Nani also supporting his son, and asked Saleha it is better leave.
My Take
The episode was very well executed. The death of Mashal was almost clear from the last week’s promo but the way it was presented on screen was phenomenal.
We haven’t seen the dead body, or any coffin or any such thing but still the acting and the expressions gave us the goosebumps. Mind blowing performance. Mahira Khan nailed the acting.
The expression of Usman Mukhtar were also very strong. In the single episode he went through different feelings and this time he showed it through his acting skills. In the start, he was annoyed with Mashal. Then her death news gives him shock. Then the attitude of the family makes him angry. And at last the grief hit him.
