Story Review
Parizaad working at welding shop. During the lunch break his trainer, Kallu Ustaad ask him to join them for lunch. Parizaad told Kallu ustaad that he want to earn more money. Ustaad suggest him to go to Karachi. He said one of his boy, “Janu” is working in Karachi at a place whose owner has a factory in Dubai. He might help you in getting a job.
Bhabhis(Kubra and Sughra), at home during Lunch discuss about Naheed. Then Sughra said, she got to know that Saleem is happy that he has recovered from his debt and started his business all over again. Kubra got curious from where they got so much money.
Parizaad at night, looking at the moon thinking about Naheed. He saw Naheed with him in his imagination. He was talking to her.
Parizaad talk to his brothers about going to Karachi, they were a reluctant but later they allowed him. He go and meet his sister before going. She becomes emotional. She wish him good luck and said return when succeed. He met his brother in law. Parizaad asked him respectfully that take care of my sister.
Parizaad has gone to Karachi by train. From Golra station to Karachi Cantt. On the station, “Janu” came to pick him. Janu has taken Parizaad along with him.
Hajjan bua went to meet Naheed. As she came to stay with her mother for pregnancy care. She gives the news that Parizaad has gone to Dubai for work.
Janu took Parizaad to his apartment. He told Parizaad that he respects Kallu Ustaad. He should feel like home. Parizaad asked him about job and going to Dubai. Janu told him that going to Dubai is not very easy. He should first work here and win trust then talk about moving to Dubai. Then janu left for his work as he told him that he only had taken half an hour break from his duty. When he left. A girl from upstairs came to give some food for janu. When Parizaad opened the door she asked who are you and where is Shahjahan. He said I am guest here and Janu is on duty. She went away. Later, when Janu came, he brought famous Daal Chawal for Parizaad. He asked him who is Shahjahan, he told him that his real name is Shahjahan, Janu is pet name.
Next day Janu take Parizaad along to his office. There he met the owner of the company, Behrose Kareem. Janu immediately said, sir he is my cousin Parizaad he wants a job. The boss like his name and asked the manager to hire him for an appropriate position. On returning home, Janu said, “your name has earned you a job.”
Hajjan bua visited Saeeda’s home than went to Kubra and Sughra’s home. She told the Bhabhis that Saeeda’s mother in law was very happy with. And Saeeda was out with her husband for outing. The bhabhis got curious that how their financial situation has changed. They asked Hajjan bua to bring the complete news.
Parizaad got the job of a shift in charge. He was working late at night, he heard some noise, he went to check. There were trucks being loaded up and ready to leave. He asked what is going on here. There is no delivery this time. There came the manager from behind, he said it is under my supervision. But Parizaad insisted that I am duty in charge here. I must know what is being loaded and I will not allow the trucks to go out without making an entry in the schedule. But the manager asked him to leave from here. The episode ends.
My Take
This drama is taking the next level. It has something which never have been on the screen before. The direction is superb by Shehzad Kashmiri. He has put in too much detailing in every character and even in minor things.
Lets talk about Parizaad’s moving to Karachi. A person coming to Karachi for the first time. The depiction of the metropolitan city was so on point. First he had to climbed the narrow staircase of an high rise apartments. Then as he steps in, there was no electricity, the host opens the gallery door for the air. The host brought him famous daal chawal of Karachi. These details are so beautifully intricate, that for a Karachiite it was a treat to watch.
The scene of Parizaad thinking about Naheed while looking at the moon was beautifully picturized. The imagination was like a fairy tale. The direction of the scene was perfect.
Ahmed Ali Akbar’s conversation with his sister was very well written. The dialogues between him and his Brother in law are said with a grace, and respect. He asked him to give right to his wife to live.
With all the exceptionally outstanding features, there is this Bhabhis track, which is very annoying and taking too much screen time. As a viewer I want to see more about the hero and his life not how the Bhabhis are plotting against Saeeda and how cunning and jealous they are. The fact has already been established that they are not well wishers of Parizaad and Saeeda, endorsement in every episode is not necessary. This drama is a little different from these typical family politics and please let it be.

Noman Ijaz has made his entry in this episode. He only had a single scene. But he left his charm and charisma in the whole episode.
The Janu is also an interesting character.
