Story Review
Mehreen went to meet Safwan. He told her that he received some emails about her childhood and family details. Mehreen instantly knew it must be Mashal but she didn’t tell Safwan about it. He was concerned that there is an enemy of Mehreen. At home she confronted Mashal, she said that what’s the proof. Mehreen was upset. She wrote in the diary that once again, her hopes has been shattered.
When Mehreen was at lunch with Safwan, Aswad and his mother came to have Lunch at the same place. They saw her with Safwan. The other day Saleha invited Mehreen at her place. In the car porch she met Aswad, he told her that we saw you with the man, where are you heading. You should not be doing all this. Mehreen said “what am I doing, just having lunch with a friend, what’s wrong in it. This is My life and I will live as I want to.” Then she went inside to meet her Khala. She asked her you also wanted to know about Safwan. Khala said, ” No. I want to know about your feelings for Aswad? I want to make you my daughter in law.” She said, ” Khala Aswad likes Mashal and she also likes him. I like you, this house is dear to me but please I don’t want to come here as an unwanted person.”
Saleha talked to Aswad, he also refuse about this proposal. He said that he likes Mashal. She tried to explain him Mashal is not like the way he thinks she is. But he didn’t understand it. She even said that i will get really hurt if you marry Mashal.
The next morning Aswad saw his mother really upset. He went to meet Mehreen and asked her to console her Khala and make her realize that Mashal will be a good life partner for me. Mehreen agreed.
Mehreen meets Safwan, he gave her the proof that emails were sent by Mashal.
Mashal went to Aswad’s house. Saleha was there, she said salam and went to Aswad’s room. He was getting ready to go somewhere and she said she go along. That sounds a little weird but she insisted. In car Aswad told her that my mother wants me to marry Mehreen. She asked him that whom he wants to marry, he said obviously you.
When Mashal returned home she went straight to Mehreen’s room. She said stay away from Aswad, he only loves me. Mehreen said if he loves you , why are you here begging me. Mashal said we both hate each other but Aswad is mine, I will win him.
My take
Huma Nawab has a strong roll. She is doing complete justice to it. The way she is blending her character with the lead is exceptionally good. She has a grace with an attitude.
Usman Mukhtar is giving good expressions. He is being made con by Mashal and he is unknowingly following what is telling him.
