Story Review
The episode started Mashal is talking to Aswad Via video call and telling him all lies about Mehreen that she miss behaves with everyone. She said she even back bites about his mother. She told him so many bad things about Mehreen and he eventually believes her because she knit her lies so perfectly that he couldn’t skip.
Mehreen sees a flashback of her childhood that how her mother brought her beautiful dresses, while looking at the clothes she brought for her now.
Mehreen went to her Khala’s place. Saleha adores her. She stayed at night there as well. At home, shagufta inquires from nani about her, she told her that she is staying at Saleha to help her out in doing the interior designing of Aswads room. Saleha tried to talk about her relationship with her mother. She asked her to be polite with her, try to understand her. But Mehreen very intelligently changed the topic and leave the table.
Shagufta told Mashal that she will talk to her dad about Mashal getting married with Aswad not Mehreen.
Aswad called her mother and got to know that Mehreen is staying there. Mehreen does all the interior by herself. Cleaned Aswad’s room and pressed his clothes with all her heart.
Mashal has a secret key to Mehreen’s room. She entered and read her diary, in which she wrote, “she hates Mashal”. Mashal puts some cigarettes on her table and click a picture of it. She even put a burnt mark on one of her shirt. And even killed her bird. She send that picture to Aswad and pretend in front of him that she is concerned about her.
Aswad called his mother and Mehreen picked up the call. He harshly inquire about smoking habit. She said i don’t smoke.
When she came back home nani told her that Tahir and Shagufta wants Mashal to marry Aswad. So you stay away from him. When she came in her room, she found her bird dead, she started having asthima attack. She searched for her inhaler, but couldn’t find her. As it was stolen by Mashal and she throw it away. Mehreen called Saffwan for inhaler. Episode ends.
My take
The family dynamics is shown. Mashal is paranoid with Mehreen. She hates her and does things to hurt her. She is highly insecure with her. She has a complex personality.
