Story review:
Second episode started with, Mirza Saheb(Mohammad Ahmed), infront of many people from neighbourhood confronted Parizaad about the letter and he admitted that he wrote it. His elder brothers hit him hard but his sister tried to save him.
The next morning shoka(the loafer guy) came to know about parizaad’s insult. He was shocked to know that Parizaad didn’t mentioned his name, instead took the blame on himself.
Parizaad’s sister had full trust on her brother. Upon asking he told her the truth. The two elder Bhabhis went to Naheed’s house to apologise and make their own terms better with her mother. On the other hand saeeda(sister of Parizaad) told the truth to the sister of Naheed.
Parizad had encounter with Shoka at bus stop and he told him that the story is not that simple, as when he broke on the roof of Naheed’s house she was there with another guy, and she clearly saw him(shoka) so why not she mentioned his name and let all the blame fall upon Parizaad.
Parizaad followed Naheed after college to investigate the truth behind the story told by shoka. Naheed went to a restaurant after college to meet Majid. They saw Parizaad, and asked him to come and sit with them. They told him that they love each other and wants to get married. Naheed apologized him but unintentionally she made fun of his looks.
My take:
Remarkable acting by Ahmed Ali Akbar. He nailed his character. The scene of the restaurant with Naheed and the way his facial expressions explains his feeling was epic. His dialogue with his sister were another masterpiece performance, he kept his tone so low and it was so on point for the situation. Hats off to the performance.
New entry
Laila Zuberi made new entry in this episode as hajjan Bua, rishte karaney wali aunty. It was pleasant watching her in this type of character. Her getup; wearing white dupata above black abaya, and cherry on top were the different coloured glass bangles. Her voice, tone, language everything was so on point as required for being hajjan bua.
