Parizaad

Episode # 1

Parizaad, much anticipated drama of Hum TV started today. It is a dramatization of a novel written by Hashim Nadeem, directed by Shehzad Kashmiri, and produced by Momina duraid. It has Ahmed Ali Akbar in the lead roll as Parizaad. Ushna Shah, Yumna zaidi, Urwa Hoccain, and the great cast list goes long way.

Episode started with the scene of heavy rain. Saleem Mairaj father of already 3 little kids shown waiting outside a house for another birth. Soon a matured women came out of a room and give the news “its a boy”. Mizna Waqas is the wife of Saleem Mairaaj, she named her son “Parizaad”. Manzoor(Saleem mairaj) warned his wife that this name will give trouble to the boy all his life.

The next scene fast forward to twenty years later. Parizaad (Ahmed Ali Akbar) was shown living in a lower middle class locality with his elder sister and two married elder brothers. Parizaad is shown as dark skinned and not so good looking man but he is good in studies. He is sensitive in nature and a little introvert. Parizaad studies as well as gives tutions for earning. He gives all his income to his Bhabhis, who mistreated him in different ways. Sister of Parizaad is played by Kiran Tabeer and she is a protagonist. She loves and support her brother in her limited ways.

Ismat Zaidi mother of Naheed played by Ushna Shah asked parizaad to gove tutions to her daughter. He agreed. Before starting the tution, one loafer kind of a guy from the colony asked Parizaad to write a love letter for his crush that is Naheed. He started teaching Ushna Shah. One night when Naheed’s parents were out for a wedding, that loafer climbed the roof of their house where Naheed was studying. She started shouting and the guy runs away, but he accidentally drop the letter on the roof which was actually written by Parizaad. Naheed’s father found the paper on the ground and easily identify the writing of Ahmed Ali Akbar; there the episode ends.

Seems to be a promising project. It has some different dimensions to cater. It seems to be, a life journey of A not so good looking person with a soft heart.
